The World Day of Prayer for Peace, which
witnessed the participation of over 450 religious
leaders of different faiths was concluded
yesterday, Sept 20 in Assisi, Italy.
In attendance was Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido
Sanusi II, and he met with Pope Francis. They are
pictured shaking hands with the dashing Emir
looking very excited.
The 3-day is an event where religious leaders of
different faiths gather to pray for peace and
strengthen dialogue in the spirit of Assisi.
